A walk around town with the Hasselblad
The weather in northern Norway has been bad for weeks and weeks now and between working and cursing wind and rain, there hasn’t been much time for photography. But for a couple of hours today the weather was actually ok. No rain, just a little wind and actually some cold. Minus 1 degree celcius to be exact. So while my car was serviced with some new oil and filters, I decided to take the Hasselblad for a little walk.
I’de already loaded a roll of Kentmere 400 into the camera and taken a couple of pictures late one evening. I’ve pushed this toll to 1600 ASA, or two stops if you’de like.
This meant that I could shoot handheld to a certain point today. We’ll see if my hands are steady enough for 1/30th of a second which I had to use for a couple of the images. But most of them was shot at 1/125th.
I didn’t bring much with me on the walk. Only the camera, my sekonic lightmeter and the 150mm f/4. Most of the images I took was with the 80mm, but I got of a few shots with the 150mm too.
Sadly I didn’t have the time to shoot the whole roll, so I’ll have to wait until another day when I hopefully can finnsih it and develop to see the results.
But it was nice to be back out shooting again. I’ve missed this the last weeks. Being stuck inside in bad weather, not having the time to be outside to take photos.
